Terms of Use
1. About The Laal
The Laal is a platform where people list items and services, chat, and arrange deals. For ordinary buyers and sellers, The Laal is an intermediary that provides the tools; the sale itself is between the buyer and the seller.
2. Your account
You sign in with a mobile number verified by a one-time code, or with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure.
3. Listings and conduct
Post only things you are entitled to sell, with your own photographs and an honest description, including defects. Do not post illegal, misleading, abusive or infringing content. Posts and listings may be screened automatically and reviewed by a moderation team, and may be removed.
4. LAAL Adda
Adda posts are conversations, not listings. Follow the community guidelines shown in the app. Society groups are private by default; you choose where each post is shown.
5. Certified The Laal
Certified The Laal is a participant role for people who source, broker or resell items. It may require identity verification. Meeting verification does not mean we endorse any transaction.
6. Payments and deals
Terms for any token, reservation, escrow, fee or refund will be published here before those features are offered to the public. Nothing in the app should be read as a payment guarantee until then.
7. Reporting and grievances
You can report content in the app. See the grievance page for how complaints are handled.
8. Changes
We will update these terms as the product changes and show the date of the latest version here.
9. Governing law
To be confirmed with counsel. We expect Indian law to apply.
